SACRAMENTO
The coroner's office has identified the 3 people shot and killed in their South Sacramento home Tuesday.
46-year-old Schio Saechao was reportedly fighting with her husband late Monday night at their home on Home Country Way. Her husband, Kouei Saetern grabbed a rifle after his 2 sons tried to intervene in the argument.
Saetern fired off shots and killed his wife and sons, identified as 22-year-old Jerry Saetern and 19-year-old Vern Saetern.
Two of Kouei Saetern's daughters and a nephew were also home at the time of the argument, and took off running for a neighbor's home when the rifle was brought out.
They are currently staying with relatives.
Saetern has been booked into the Sacramento County Jail on 3 murder counts. He will be arraigned Wednesday afternoon.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
