The Tulare County Sheriffs Department is investigating an apparent murder-suicide. On Friday, Deputies responded to an orchard at Road 148 and County Line Road near Delano after people found two bodies inside of a car.
Detectives said each adult suffered from a gunshot wound. They believe 19-year-old Victor Mota shot and killed 23-year-old Vanessa Mojarro before turning the gun on himself.
A handgun was also located in the car.
The Sheriffs Department also said an infant girl was in the vehicle. She was transported to a Delano hospital where she was checked out and released to family.
Family members last saw the two adults and infant on Thanksgiving Day around 7:30 p.m.
It's still unknown how long they were in the area, but it appears they were there for several hours before being discovered.
