Authorities Investigating Murder-Suicide in Barstow (11-13-10)
WARD COUNTY - State, county, and federal authorities are investigating after a murder-suicide in Barstow.
It happened just after 2p.m. Saturday afternoon in the 500 block of Brandt Street in Barstow, which is located in Ward County.
Emergency crews tell NewsWest 9, Joe Martinez shot and killed Maribel Martinez then turned the gun on himself.
We know DPS Troopers, Texas Rangers and the Ward County Sheriff were called out to the scene.
An autopsy has been ordered.
