Authorities say when they arrived at a home on Meadows Lane Sunday afternoon, they found two people dead of an apparent murder-suicide.
"I just seen a police car rolled in here," said neighbor Billy Rogers.
He and his other neighbors along Meadows Lane knew something was wrong when law enforcement arrived at the home at the end of the road.
Authorities say two people were found dead inside, but they are not releasing any names until their families are notified, or any other details about the case.
However neighbors say the home was occupied by a middle-aged couple.
"They was good neighbors when they first moved in," said Rogers.
Rogers says he didn't know the couple very well, but that they had recently separated.
"They got to having problems - she went her way, he went his, she came over to get her clothes that's when all this happened..can't believe it happened in this community," said Rogers.
He says it's an awful thing to happen in their peaceful neighborhood.
"Normally it's real quiet," said Rogers, "I hate it that it happened."
Kentucky State Police are investigating the incident.

We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
