LINCOLNTON - A couple who lived in White County until a few months ago has been found dead in Lincolnton, Ga. - and their deaths have been ruled a murder-suicide.
GBI agent Mike Ayers says 53-year-old Christopher Holloway and his 37-year-old wife, Pamela, lived in White County "until less than four months ago."
He says the investigation shows Holloway shot and killed his wife inside their Lincolnton home and then killed himself.
A relative discovered the bodies about 8:00 Monday morning.
The Holloways were originally from the Lincolnton area and had moved there to care for relatives.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
