A Dallas man has surrendered in a fatal weekend shooting at the Carrollton home of his former girlfriend, police said.
Keven Young, 31, turned himself in Monday, two days after the slaying of Desmond Pope of Dallas, police spokesman Dustin Bartram said.
Young is being held in the Denton County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
Police said the victim was visiting the home of two sisters in the 2200 block of Lockwood Drive on Saturday night when Young showed up unannounced and said he was upset that his ex-girlfriend hadn't called him back.
Police said Young shot Pope as he tried to leave the home. The two men didn't know each other.

We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
