Warner, OK: Murder-Suicide Suspected In Eastern Okla. Deaths

WARNER, Okla. -- Authorities say a man and a woman found shot to death in Muskogee County were victims of a murder-suicide.

Officials said Monday relatives found the bodies of Jimmy Young and Paula Young about 6:30 p.m. Sunday near Warner. Officials say a note was found at the residence indicating Jimmy Young shot Paula Young and then shot himself.

According to records on the Oklahoma State Courts Network, Paula Young filed for divorce from her husband in October, and the divorce was granted in December.
