MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - Horry County Police say a woman has been charged with murder after she went to the home of her ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend and shot him several times.
Officers say 51-year-old Vivian Schrader-Falls was sitting in her car when they arrived Saturday morning with a pistol in the seat beside her.
Investigators say Schrader-Falls knocked on the door of the home near Myrtle Beach and asked to see 46-year-old Tony Hughes. A woman answered the door and said he wasn't there, but Hughes told the woman it was his ex-girlfriend and he would go and see her.
The woman told police she heard gunshots a few moments later.
Schrader-Falls is being held at the Horry County jail without bond. It wasn't clear if she had an attorney.
