Midland, TX: Two Bodies Found in Midland County Being Ruled as Murder-Suicide

MIDLAND COUNTY - Two bodies found in Midland County on Monday is now being called a murder-suicide.

Investigators found the bodies of Elizabeth Torres and Arturo Alvarado in an oil field off of West County Road 60 and North County Road 1275.

Turns out the two were boyfriend and girlfriend but were married to other people.

Alvarado and Torres had an agreement that Torres would manage the restaurant Mi Mulato on Main Street.

Afterward the two would split the profits, divorce and then marry each other.

After interviewing several people, it turns out there were differences of opinion on both issues.

We're told Alvarado picked Torres up, drove her to the county and shot her.

Afterward, Alvarado shot himself in the head.
