TAMPA, Fla. - A Tampa man has been arrested for stabbing to death his girlfriend.
Tampa Police say 52 year-old Kenneth Leroy Shivers stabbed his girlfriend 50 year-old Gina Wanda Smith last night at her home on Chelsea Street.
Family members drove Smith to Tampa General Hospital where she died.
The first officer on scene encountered Smith as he was leaving the home. Shivers was arrested without incident.
