NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A Brooklyn woman has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of her husband in the couple’s apartment.
Thirty-two-year-old Shellyann Henry apparently became enraged and confronted her husband, 44-year-old Rudolph Henry, when she found him watching a pornographic DVD in their home on Wilson Avenue, 1010 WINS’ Terry Sheridan reported.
Sheridan also reported that the couple’s 4-year-old son may or may not have been in the room during the commotion.
Police said the couple got into a fight around 9:40 p.m. Thursday, during which Henry repeatedly stabbed her husband with a kitchen knife.
Henry called 911 and police arrived at the scene to find her husband unconscious and unresponsive with stab wound to his torso. EMS took the man to Wyckoff Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Neighbors said the couple did have a somewhat tumultuous relationship, but never saw it become violent.
Neighbor Dawn Springs told the Daily News that Henry was a “great mom” who just “lost it” when she found the DVD in the apartment.
The couple has three children including a 17-year-old daughter, 4-year-old son and a baby girl.

We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
