Investigators believe a man who committed suicide is responsible for the death of the Cobb County woman he lived with.
Harold Purvis Jr., 27, the victim of an apparent suicide, was found dead Thursday in Columbia, S.C., with a vehicle belonging to Ladonna Stallings, 23.
When Cobb police checked the home the two shared in the 1100 block of West Commons Road in Marietta they found the body of Stallings.
Her death is believed to be a homicide, Cobb police said Saturday. The cause of death has not been released. The investigation continues.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
