BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say a woman and a man, Joy Rizzo, 49, and Andrew Soos, 51 are dead in an apparent murder-suicide in a Buffalo apartment.
Police spokesman Mike DeGeorge says officers found the bodies Wednesday afternoon after being called to the apartment by someone concerned about the woman's welfare. DeGeorge says the case appears to be a murder-suicide stemming from a domestic dispute.
Police haven't released the names of the 49-year-old woman or the 51-year-old man.
Neighbors tell Buffalo media outlets that the woman had packed her belongings and was preparing to move to Florida with a man she had recently reconnected with.
