A Levittown man who apparently doused his house with gasoline and died in the fire was identified by authorities on Tuesday as Dominic Morabito.
Firefighters found Morabito's body Monday afternoon behind his charred two-story home on Red Maple Lane in Bristol Township.
Authorities said Morabito had argued with his girlfriend and ordered her to leave the house.
When she returned to retrieve her purse, she saw him "pouring some type of fluid on the floor," said Bucks County Deputy District Attorney Marc Furber.
An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday morning, said Coroner Joseph Campbell.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
