SCHUYLERVILLE, N.Y. — Authorities say they've charged a 28-year-old upstate New York woman with second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of her boyfriend.
State police say troopers and Saratoga County sheriff's deputies were called Sunday morning to a village of Schuylerville apartment, where they found 28-year-old Matthew Furlani dead from a gunshot wound. Police recovered a large-caliber rifle at the scene.
Police say Joey Paul shot Furlani during an argument in the apartment they shared. She was arraigned on murder charges in Town of Saratoga Court and is being held in the county jail without bail.
It couldn't immediately be determined if she had a lawyer.
