CREEK COUNTY, Oklahoma -- Creek County Sheriff Deputies are investigating a death early Saturday morning.
Deputies were called out to a home in the 10700 block of 145th W Ave on a report of a female choking around 3 a.m.
When they arrived, they found a man in his 50's dead with a gunshot wound to the head and female subject laying across his body with a knife wound to her throat.
According to authorities, the victim's girlfriend told deputies that she was the one that shot the man.
Sheriff Investigators say both had been drinking all night when an argument involving a gun and knife took place.
It's still unclear to Investigators what exactly happened and what the argument was about. Creek County investigators say the woman's story keeps changing.
The victim's girlfriend was treated for unknown injuries by Creek County paramedics on scene.
It's not known if any charges will be filed
