PONCA CITY, Okla. — Police have identified two people who died in an apparent murder-suicide in Ponca City.
Officers told the Ponca City News (http://bit.ly/usVEs4 ) that 23-year-old Ivonne Widle was found with a gunshot wound at a residence, and her 30-year-old husband, Rex Widle was discovered in a pickup truck near his in-laws' home.
Police say they received two 911 calls about 7:22 a.m. Friday. One caller reported that a man had shot himself, and another requested a welfare check on an employee who hadn't come to work.
Officers found Ivonne Widle with a gunshot wound. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died.
Investigators are still looking into the shootings.
