Harrisburg police said Tarina Price was stabbed and shot in the head by her estranged husband, Donnell Price, during a domestic dispute at her home on the 1600 block of Sycamore Street just after midnight Thursday.
Police said Donnell later returned to the scene, was questioned, and then loaded into a squad car and taken into custody. Donnell has been charged with criminal homicide, and was taken into custody at the Dauphin County Prison Friday afternoon.
Kids were in the home at the time of the incident, but they were not injured.
Tarina Price was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center where she later died.
School officials said Price was an 8th grade Language Arts teacher at Rowland School in the Harrisburg School District. Parents and students gathered at Rowland School Thursday evening.
