UPDATE:
Police respond to a domestic assault and find a woman dead.
That was the scene in Lancasrer County as State Police arrived after a child inside the home ran for help.
A neighbor tells us three children were inside the home when a couple got into a domestic dispute. Thursday night the boyfriend is charged with his girlfriend's murder.
Shane Sigman is the man police charged with criminal homicide and simple assault.
Troopers discovered his girlfriend, 42-year-old Virginia Cole, dead inside the home.
The couple lived at the home in the 400 block of Truce Road for about three months. The property owner says they each had come from separate relationships.
The property manager tells us three kids were inside including one that was injured than ran for help.
Dustin killian heard the victim was pushed or kicked down the steps.
“The details I know I’m piecing together, Shane is in custody now,” explained Property Manager Dustin Killian. “I heard he kicked her down the steps or was pushed and he kicked a 12-year-old daughter down the steps.”

State Police have a man in custody on murder charges following a domestic dispute in New Providence, Lancaster County.
Neighbors say police remained on the scene since the crime happened Wednesday night until Thursday morning.
They also tell CBS 21 children were inside at the time the crime happened.
CBS 21 is on scene and will provide more information as it becomes available.

Wednesday night around 11:00 p.m. Troop J officers were called to 410A Truce Rd. for an active domestic assault. When troopers arrived on scene they found a dead victim inside the home.
Shane Alan Sigman was arrested today (Thursday) in connection with the killing of 42-year-old Virginia Cole. Sigman was arraigned on charges of Criminal Homicide and Simple Assault then remanded to Lancaster County Prison.
