TUCSON, Ariz. - A Tucson woman accused of fatally shooting her two children tells investigators that she attacked the youngsters after she had an argument with her boyfriend.
The Arizona Daily Star reports (http://bit.ly/Sf02gJ) that a detective wrote in an interim complaint that 25-year-old Perla Morales said her boyfriend threatened to leave her and that she admitted to shooting her children on Saturday night.
Investigators say 17-month-old Richard Rosovich Jr. died at his home, while 4-year-old Emma Rosovich was pronounced dead shortly after at a hospital.
The detective who wrote the interim complaint says in the document that Morales cut her wrists during the incident.
Morales was booked on two counts of first-degree murder after she was released from a hospital where she was treated for her injuries.
