LA PLATA, Md. (October 1, 2010)—The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following report regarding the shooting deaths of a husband and wife in White Plains.
DEATH INVESTIGATION: On October 1 at approximately 8 a.m., officers responded to the 8800 block of Osterly Court in White Plains after receiving a call from a teenaged resident who reported finding two family members deceased inside the residence. When officers arrived, they found Patrice Anwar Warner, 39, and his wife, Altovise Lashawn Warner, 38, in an upstairs bedroom, each suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. They were transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy. During the initial investigation, detectives determined this is a possible murder/suicide. A gun and other evidence were recovered at the scene. Anyone with additional information is asked to call the Charles County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit at (301) 609-6514. The investigation is on-going.
