Children Present When Fatal Shooting Occurred
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A jury has convicted a man for murdering his girlfriend in front of her children.
Michael Dewayne Wlliams was found guilty of shooting and killing Shellie Hernandez in December 2008. Police said Hernandez was shot at her apartment in Madison during a fight with Williams.
She was trying to call 911 when Williams killed her, said authorities.
Williams could face life in prison.
