San Antonio, TX: Cuero Suspect in Ex-Wife's Murder Captured by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force

San Antonio, TX – The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF) arrested 42 year old James Griffin in a suspected crack house in the 1100 block of East Crockett at approximately 8:35 p.m. on Thursday.

Griffin is the suspect in the stabbing death of his former wife. Her body was found inside her home on Monday in Cuero, Texas.

Acting on a request provided by the USMS Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force out of Victoria, LSFTF members worked closely with agencies in the San Antonio area. A citizen provided the tip to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) that eventually led to Griffin’s whereabouts. Griffin was found sitting in the back area of a vacant home drinking a beer and offered no resistance to LSFTF members.

Robert R. Almonte, United States Marshal for the Western District of Texas said, “The communication between all of the agencies, media and public allowed the LSFTF to make a swift arrest in this case.”
