HUTCHINSON, Kan. | Law enforcement officers across the country have been asked to help search for a Hutchinson man who is charged in his wife's death.
Hutchinson police have been looking for 48-year-old Hoseah Masabah Kaminja since last Wednesday, when his wife was found dead at her home.
An autopsy found that 41-year-old Wilfrida N. Masabah died from blunt-force trauma. Police say a hatchet found near the body probably was used in the killing.
Hutchinson Police Capt. Troy Hoover says federal authorities and airport security in the U.S., Canada and Mexico have been notified to look for Kaminja, who is a native of Kenya.
Kaminja has been charged with first-degree murder and aggravated burglary.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
