ORLANDO --
Orange County sheriff's deputies say a 24-year-old man fatally shot himself at a gun range Saturday, but not before killing a woman at her apartment.
The woman was found dead at the Polos East Apartments on Woodbury Road near Colonial Drive.
Deputies say Ryan Scurlock killed 21-year-old Jennifer Roqueta.
Scurlock had apparently sent his roommate and roommate's girlfriend some text messages that had them concerned.
They called 911 to have deputies find Scurlock, but it was too late.
Investigators say he walked into the Shooting Gallery on 39th street, rented a gun and fatally shot himself in the head.
It’s still not clear how Roqueta died.
