ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - A 30-year-old Rochester man faces a murder charge in the death of his girlfriend at their home.
Rochester police found the body of 27-year-old Tammy Ouweleen (Ow-a-LEEN') on her bed Tuesday after being called to investigate an unresponsive female. Her boyfriend, Peter Viana, was sleeping and incoherent in the bed next to her.
Police say Viana was hospitalized and will be charged with second-degree murder.
Police did not release a cause of death. The investigation is continuing.
