LITTLE ROCK — A 35-year-old man is charged with second-degree murder in the Sunday night shooting death of his girlfriend's ex-husband outside her Garland County home, authorities said.
Charles Wideman was arrested without incident shortly after the 8:49 p.m. shooting.
Police say the victim, 37-year-old Shawn Guthrie, showed up at his ex-wife's home, 742 Hughes Road, and got into an argument with Wideman.
Deputies responded and found Guthrie dead in the front yard from multiple gunshot wounds, according to a Garland County Sheriff's Department news release.

We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
