The husband of a Framingham woman who was found dead Monday has been called a “person of interest’’ in the investigation into her death, authorities said.

Police are trying to locate Kyle Alleyne, said to be in his mid-20s, for questioning about the death of his wife, Heather.

On Monday, Heather Alleyne, a 19-year-old mother of two, was found dead in the Route 9 condominium the couple shared in Framingham, after her mother had called police to request a well-being check because she had not spoken with her.

Family members were concerned because the couple had a stormy relationship in the past, family friends said, and Kyle Alleyne recently discovered that he is not the father of Heather’s 2-week-old daughter. She had apparently conceived the baby during a brief separation last year. Kyle is the father of Heather’s 2-year-old daughter.

Cara O’Brien, a spokeswoman for Middlesex District Attorney Gerard T. Leone Jr., said yesterday that no one has been declared a suspect in the death.

“We believe [Kyle Alleyne] might have information that may be helpful to determine the circumstances of the victim’s death,’’ she said.

A cause of death has not been determined since officials are awaiting autopsy results, O’Brien said.

But investigators have declared the death to be suspicious and are treating it as a homicide.

“It is a very active and fluid investigation,’’ O’Brien said.

A friend, Shaina Stanley, who graduated from Framingham High School in 2008 with Heather Alleyne, said yesterday that Heather had dated Kyle on and off since high school, but that she often kept her relationship to herself.

“She never really told anyone about her problems, but everyone could see it,’’ she said. “She was a humble person. She never said anything bad about anyone, she didn’t argue with anyone.’’

Stanley said she was close with Heather until the past year, as both graduated from high school and were raising their children, she said. But she remembered her as an artist who loved listening to music and who would be the first person to offer friendly advice.

Joshua Elinoff, who said he dated Heather Alleyne for a brief time last year during a separation she had from Kyle, told the Globe that Kyle Alleyne learned only within the past three weeks that he was not the baby’s father.

Elinoff said that Heather Alleyne told him she had taken a paternity test that showed Kyle was not the father, and that the child was conceived during their brief relationship.

Elinoff said he is in the process of trying to adopt the baby girl.

The state Department of Children and Families took temporary custody of the infant yesterday, but she remains in the custody of family, an agency spokeswoman said. Elinoff said the baby is staying with his parents while he seeks permanent custody.

Heather Alleyne’s 2-year-old daughter is in the custody of Kyle’s parents, Elinoff said. They could not be reached for comment yesterday.

Elinoff said he has not seen Kyle Alleyne since an encounter last Friday.

Elinoff said he has been questioned by police about Heather Alleyne’s death.

He said Heather had returned to Kyle after their brief split last year, because “she wanted to keep her family intact.’’

“She was mature for a 19-year-old. She wasn’t one to go out and party,’’ he said.

“She really cared about her family a lot.’’
Woman Found Dead In Framingham Condo
FRAMINGHAM (WBZ) ―

Police were at the Oak Terrace Condominiums early Tuesday morning.

A woman was founded dead at a condominium complex in Framingham Monday evening.

The Middlesex district attorney's office has identified her as 19-year-old Heather Alleyne.

Police went to the Oak Terrace Condominiums on Route 9 for a well-being check of Alleyne.

They told the MetroWest Daily News Alleyne's mother was worried because her daughter had problems with her husband over the weekend.

Officers then found a body in the home.

Police say they are questioning at least one person, but would not say if that person was a suspect.

A spokeswoman for the Middlesex district attorney's office confirmed the investigation of a "suspicious death," but could not immediately provide additional details.

"She was a good person. She was young," Joshua Elinoff told WBZ's Sera Congi.

He said he was the victim's ex-boyfriend and knew she was abused.

"She just kept going back to him, when maybe other women wouldn't have."

The district attorney's office says the medical examiner's office will determine cause and mann of death.

They say it does not appear the death was random.
