Will County court records show an order of protection had been obtained against Williams in 2011. He also was charged in 2008, but ultimately not prosecuted, for domestic battery. Court records also show he was convicted in 2008 of being a felon in possession of a firearm, and in 2010 of aggravated battery in a public place.
