Greenland, AR: Greenland shooting suspect accused of killing wife, mother-in-law


GREENLAND, Ark. —Authorities with the Greenland Police Department said a suspect has been arrested after a domestic dispute ended in a fatal shooting Thursday night.
27- year-old Mandrake Patterson, the husband of one of the victims, was arrested. He was booked into the Washington County Detention Center Friday morning.
Police said three women were shot, Betty Desalvo, 53, Hope Patterson, 34, and Denise Fulfer, 55. 
Desalvo was pronounced dead at the scene. Patterson, her daughter, and Fulfer, her sister,  were transported to Washington Regional Hospital where Patterson died of her injuries, police said.
Fulfer is in critical condition, police said.
According to Washington County deputies, Greenland Police were called to a domestic dispute at 1037 N Main Street in Greenland  around 8:48 p.m. Thursday  night.

When officers arrived at the apartment complex,one person was found dead and two were injured.  Crime scene tape surrounded the apartment building.

Investigators are still processing the crime scene and interviewing neighbors and family.
