HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - A man charged with stabbing his wife to death has pleaded guilty to murder charges on Monday, according to 15th Judicial Circuit Solicitor Greg Hembree.
Prosecutors alleged Charles Dean stabbed his wife, identified as Jill Dean, 30 times inside of their home on Oct. 17, 2009. Injuries sustained in the incident led to Jill Dean's death, according to investigators.
Dean's murder charge carried a minimum of 30 years to life in prison. Judge Larry Hymen sentenced Dean to 30 years in prison without the possibility of parole.
