Ogden, UT: 911 call released in alleged Ogden domestic violence homicide

OGDEN, Utah – Police in Ogden have released the 911 tape from an alleged domestic violence homicide. On Oct. 20, Jeffrey Dene White called 911 for help, saying his girlfriend 38-year-old Marnie Stark was dead. Police say the 43-year-old was at the home they shared on 1390 Douglas Ave. in Ogden. In the tape, the dispatcher tells White that even though he repeatedly says Stark was dead, he needed to continue to give chest compressions. “You’re doing good. Just keep going, okay,” the dispatcher said. “Keep going? but she’s dead,” White replied. “Just keep going, okay?” Paramedics later arrived and took Stark to McKay-Dee Hospital where she was pronounced dead. White is charged with murder and two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child.
