RIVERDALE, Ga. (AP) — The 33-year-old boyfriend of a Clayton County woman found stabbed to death in her home, where two of her children were found tied up, has been charged with murder.
Clayton County police said Tuesday that William Nazario is charged with killing 32-year-old Korean Bowden.
Police entered the home Monday after a pastor stopped by and saw a girl whose feet were bound let him inside, and he found a younger child tied up in a bathtub.
Police said they went to the home, where they found Bowden's body. The warrant says her ears were missing.
Arrest warrants state that Nazario allegedly fought verbally and physically with Bowden on Friday. Family members said Tuesday they had tried unsuccessfully to get Bowden to separate from Nazario.
A statewide alert was issued for Nazario and a third child, who was found unharmed with Nazario in Acworth.
The eldest girl told police Nazario picked her up from school Friday afternoon, tied her hands behind her back and duct taped her mouth before locking her in a closet.
The Division of Family and Children Services has taken the children. Family members said the three were in good condition.
