LEHIGH ACRES: A husband, wife and their 13-month-old child have been identified as those found dead in a Lehigh Acres home Thursday.
Deputies say someone called them around 4 p.m. after the person went into the home on East Lake Drive and saw the bodies.
The sheriff's office said victims are Winselsio Forde, 39, Lisa Forde, 33, and Caleb Forde.
The sheriff's office says their preliminary investigation reveals it is a double-murder suicide.
Neighbor Mike Hill says the tragic news is still hard to handle. But he said he knew something was wrong Thursday morning.
"And I heard 'boom!' The wind was blowing out of the Northeast because I was going to go hunting this morning and I knew it came from that direction. I wasn't sure which house, or if it was even inside a house," he said.
Winselsio Forde was charged with domestic battery in 2009.
The report from that incident stated that he threw Lisa to the floor during an argument when she was 12 weeks pregnant.
In 2007, Winselsio was charged with cocaine possession after a traffic stop. He allegedly told deputies he had 'a crack cocaine habit.'
Lisa Forde was a paramedic with Lee County EMS. Her co-workers are wearing black stripes across their badges in memory of her and her son.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
