Three men, including the victim's husband, have been charged with felony murder in the shooting death of a 47-year-old Warner Robins woman.
Police say Joni Clements was found shot to death in her home last month.
Warner Robins police spokeswoman Tabitha Pugh says an autopsy shows Clements died from multiple gunshot wounds to her chest and torso.
Pugh says the woman's husband, 55-year-old James E. Clements Jr. was arrested Monday at Robins Air Force Base, where he is employed as a sheet metal mechanic. He was charged with felony murder and burglary.
Pugh says a father and son from Warner Robins were charged with felony murder in the case over the weekend.
They're identified as 29-year-old Richard Sybert and 53-year-old Robert Grant Sybert.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
