Tarpon Springs, FL: Four found dead in Tarpon Springs home

Four people were found dead inside a Tarpon Springs home early this morning in what police said appears to be a triple murder-suicide.

The incident may also be related to a fire that gutted a gun shop about a mile away, said Capt. Jeffrey Young of the Tarpon Springs Police Department.

Authorities have not released the names of the victims or causes of death.

Just before 2 a.m., the Tarpon Springs Police Department received an alarm call from 1407 Ironworks Lane. When officers arrived at the home, they found the bodies inside.

Property records show the home is owned by Sarah Schriebman.

About the same time, firefighters were working to extinguish a fire at Silver Bullet Guns, 914 S. Pinellas Ave. The fire set off a string of explosions as the ammunition burned and damaged two other businesses in the complex.

Public records show three businesses at 914 S. Pinellas – the gun shop, a jewelry store and Lee's Hoagie House – are owned by L. Schriebman and M.M. Schriebman.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office forensics unit, state attorney and Pinellas County Medical Examiner's Office are assisting in the investigation.
