FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend and attacking her family members has pleaded guilty to the crimes.
On Tuesday afternoon, Antonio Forrest entered a guilty plea to first degree murder, attempted second degree murder, especially aggravated burglary, and two counts of aggravated assault in Williamson County.
In February 2009, investigators said Forrest killed his ex-girlfriend Rikki White with a hammer, and then brutally attacked her grandmother.
White had taken out an order of protection against Forrest the week before the murder.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
