From Staff Reports
A 42-year-old man was arrested early this morning in the stabbing death of his girlfriend’s brother at a Lake Highlands apartment.
Police said the suspect, Darrell Jackson, was fighting with his girlfriend when her brother, Eric Glenn, intervened, said Lt. David Pughes, commander of the homicide unit.
Police said Jackson then pulled out a knife and stabbed Glenn six times. Jackson was treated for injuries he suffered in the fight and was then arrested. The girlfriend was unhurt.
Glenn, 32, was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are still investigating the stabbing.
