Baltimore police are investigating three shooting deaths that took place early Saturday during a rash of overnight violence in the city.
Officers have also reported a suspicious death, after answering a report of a 42-year-old woman's body found wrapped in plastic in the 1800 block of E. 29th St. No further details were available.
Police believe that two of the three overnight killings being investigated as homicides were connected and might have been related to a domestic dispute. At 4:05 a.m., police were called to a shooting in the 3700 block of Ravenwood Ave. and found a 42-year-old man shot in the head. The unidentified man was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he later died.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
