OKLAHOMA CITY -- A man wanted for killing his wife five years ago has been arrested and brought back to Oklahoma.
Prosecutors said Javier De La Cruz-Marquez shot and killed his wife on July 24, 2005 in Del City. They said Marquez also shot and injured and eyewitness.
Police said Marquez hid in Mexico for several years. He was recently caught and arrested in Harris County, Texas. He was extradited back to Oklahoma and is currently being held in the Oklahoma County Detention Center on complaints of first-degree murder and shooting with intent to kill.
