Queens, NY: Queens Couple Dies In Apparent Murder-Suicide

Police were investigating Saturday the apparent murder-suicide of a couple in Jamaica, Queens, according to sources.
Authorities received a 911 call about a stabbing and found the bodies of Paul Johnson, 47, and Regina Alston, 46, in a house at 109-65 Liverpool Street shortly after 1 p.m.

Alston had multiple stab wounds, while sources say Johnson hung himself and had cuts on his body.
Sources also say Johnson may have snuck into the house, which was Alston's residence.

The couple had at least one daughter and one son, and the daughter was apparently home during the incident, according to sources.

Alston's landlady, Helen Law, told NY1 that Johnson moved out of the house around two months ago and that he had been previously arrested for a domestic dispute.

Sources also told NY1 that Alston had a previous restraining order against Johnson.

As of late Saturday, police were still investigating the incident and the medical examiner was still determining the causes of death.
