SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - A 23-year-old Syracuse-area man admits he strangled his wife and tossed her body into a reservoir in the Hudson Valley.
Alex Martinez of the town of Clay pleaded guilty Thursday before state Supreme Court Justice John Brunetti to second-degree murder for the April 18 death of 21-year-old Angela Harris.
Martinez admitted he strangled Harris with his hands in their apartment while their 6-month-old son was in the room. Then he drove her body to Dutchess County and threw her into the Beacon Reservoir.
The prosecutor says the couple had gotten into a fight after arguing about being on each other's MySpace accounts.

We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
