HEATHROW, Fla. -- Pictures of J.D. Wood and his family seemed to show a couple that built a beautiful life together, but that illusion was shattered in June when the entire family was found dead in their Heathrow home.

Police said J.D. Wood shot and killed wife Cynthia, daughter Aubrey and son Dillon in the head and then shot and killed himself. Reports of money problems and bankruptcy quickly surfaced.
Now, a new report by the Seminole County Sheriff's Office adds details of swinging, gambling and infidelity.
After one interview, investigators wrote, "Cynthia's friend knew about John's lifestyle of gambling, women and swinging with other couples…she said there had been talk about infidelity in John and Cynthia's marriage."
The report also said Wood was suspicious that his wife was having an affair and was taping her phone conversations.
Also according to the report, Cynthia Wood once came home and found her husband crying in the fetal position.
Finally, the day of the shooting neighbors heard the two children playing in the pool and told investigators they heard J.D. Wood yell for them to come in. They told police it was unusual because they never heard "him raise his voice to the children."
The neighbors said there was a bad storm, they saw a flash and heard a loud boom coming from the home and thought it may have been lightning. They even went outside to check the house, the report said, but they did not hear another noise from the Wood home again.
