A Tacoma man who killed his girlfriend and buried her body in the yard of house in the Hilltop neighborhood pleaded guilty Friday to second-degree murder.
Glenn D. Riccio had been charged with first-degree murder in the 2007 slaying of Jessica Louise Armstrong.
With Friday's plea, he'll face 15-to-23 years in prison when he's sentenced March 19 in Pierce County Superior Court.
The News Tribune of Tacoma reports he admitted killing Armstrong and told detectives she asked him to do it.
The body of the 30-year-old was found two years later.
