(Brewster County)- The Brewster County Sheriffs Office is investigating an apparent Murder-Suicide.
Sheriff Ronnie Dotson tells us that just after 7:00pm Thursday night, they received a 9-1-1 call from 59 year old Billy Key.
When deputies got to the home about 54 miles South of Alpine on Highway 158 and Legion road, they found 50 year old Dianna Key shot in the back and head several times.
Dodson tells us the body of Billy Keywas found in his truck with an automatic pistol, a telephone and a suicide note.
The note reportedly had instructions on who to call and an apology.
The bodies have been sent to El Paso for an autopsy.
The investigation is ongoing.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
