MILLIKEN - A man accused of hitting his pregnant wife while she was driving and causing her to crash and die will wait to be sentenced after his case was delayed Friday.
Scott Huggins, 31, of Milliken will be sentenced on Feb. 4.
Huggins was supposed to be sentenced Friday, nearly a year since the crash that killed Danielle Huggins, 28.
Scott Huggins pled guilty in December to conspiracy to commit child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury and careless driving resulting in death.
Danielle Huggins was two months pregnant when she died.
Four children were also in the sports utility vehicle at the time of the crash. They were unharmed.

A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
