GIBSON CO., IN (WFIE) - The trial continues this week for a Gibson County woman accused of killing her husband.
Barbara Earle is accused of shooting her husband, 65-year-old Bill Earle Senior last June.
The trial's in it's sixth day.
Both the prosecution and the defense wrapped up their cases Monday afternoon.
Prosecutors said it's a tough case for many reasons.
"There is no murder weapon, no confession, no one saw her do it," deputy prosecutor Tim Fox said. "There's a lot of people that didn't like the guy, but even with that, we feel that what we have has been presented pretty well."
Final arguments and jury deliberation are set to begin Tuesday morning at 8:00.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
