Debra Warren Brown was arrested today and charged with murder. She's accused of shooting and killing her husband, 52 year old Mitchell Reid Brown early this morning during a domestic altercation.
According to a news release from Lt. Jimmy Black of the Jones County Sheriff’s Department, the shooting was reported at 3:30 a.m. and happened at a home on Creekside Drive. Brown died from a gunshot wound to his torso.
Debra Brown is being held at the Jones County Jail. The case remains under investigation.
