When police arrived at Brazzell's home, Humphries was there. She told officers the suspect ran from the house, according to the incident report.
Brazzell was laying on the floor, face down. He had been shot in the back, the report states.
Investigators have learned that Humphries and Kiker conspired to rob Brazzell at his home, according to a release from Lancaster police.
Humphries was an ex-girlfriend of Brazzell. He let her inside his home, the investigation shows. Kiker entered the home a few minutes later and shot Mr. Brazzell.

Lancaster City Police blocked Rutledge Street for several hours Saturday morning as they investigated the shooting.
Residents on Rutledge Street said they did not hear any gunshots.
"I woke up about 4 a.m. and there were a lot of police cars and ambulance," said Jay Stover.
This is the second shooting reported in the area in the past two months.
On June 25, Montinyo Javon Stevens, 28, was found shot inside 507 Harris St., according to reports. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made in that incident, and the two don't appear to be related.
Stover, who has lived on Rutledge Street for almost a year, said he is planning to move because of the shootings.
