An Arlington man shot in the head last week during an apparent domestic dispute has died at a Dallas hospital, Arlington police said Tuesday.
Mason Andrew Salazar, 20, died Sunday at Dallas Methodist Hospital, three days after he was shot at an Arlington apartment.
His death marked the 14th slaying in the city this year.
Salazar's girlfriend, Yesenia Portillo Ramos, 19, was in the Arlington Jail on Tuesday in lieu of $100,000 bail.
She was expected to be charged with murder, Arlington police said.
Ramos was arrested Thursday on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after Arlington police responded to call of a shooting. Officers arrived about 8:45 p.m. Thursday at the complex in the 2200 block of Lincoln Green Circle.
Salazar was found shot and taken by helicopter ambulance to the Dallas hospital.
Ramos also was the apartment and, after talking to witnesses, police arrested her at the scene.

We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
